Within the Audiovisual Arts you can specialize in editing, the place where images and sounds come together to form a unified whole. During your training as an editor, the emphasis is on storytelling and the relationship between you and the director.
You work creatively and confidently with the narrative and the dramatic aspect in the story and make proposals in terms of structure, tempo, rhythm, emotion, music and sound design. You learn to master the editing techniques that are needed within the whole of audiovisual post-production. You are communicative and diplomatic because throughout your training you work closely together with directors of fiction, reportage and documentary. Gradually you start using your own creative style.
In the master’s degree programme, your personal artistic style and vision result in the editing of a fiction and documentary project.
