Description:

Podcasts are a super hit right now. With this three-day intense course you will go from novice to

mastering a simple voice-over and podcast recording, mixing, mastering and doing a simple edit

which are all essential concepts in order to make a podcast. Students in this course learn the

basics of what’s involved in putting together a weekly show and getting it up on iTunes. The threeday

intense coursework includes using simple recording techniques for a podcast and how to edit

the material into a show. Students will learn to put the finishing touches on their recording projects.

Mats Helgesson – Swedish born audio professional and cinematographer with 20+ years of

experience in sound recording, design, sampling, mixing, live sound reproduction and record

production. Coming from a music background, he has specialised in the live classical music field and has also

worked with many of Sweden’s most influential artists in the pop genre. In his production company,

he merges the audio knowledge with the art of cinematography for films and commercials. He has

produced and recorded numerous Swedish podcasts.
