ADVERTISING COURSE

The Lombardia branch of the CSC, born in Milan in 2004 from an agreement between the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and the Lombardy Region, has the institutional mission of training new professionals in the field of corporate cinema communication, documentary and advertising.

In 2010, the headquarters was inaugurated in viale Fulvio Testi in Milan, in the spaces of the former Tobacco Factory: a large renovated space, conceived and created with the aim of creating a new and functional entertainment citadel, capable of offering great opportunities and new impetus to the initiatives that the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia is planning for the Lombardy Region.

The three-year course focuses on Cinematography and Business Communication, and tends to train Advertising professionals, video project makers, able to work with entrepreneurial and institutional clients for the dissemination of commercial and social content on various media film, television, museum, web.

During the first year, classroom lectures and practical exercises in the studio are held for the acquisition of the tools needed to interpret a client’s desired and desired brief. Writing lessons, production, direction, shooting techniques, photography, editing, work organization, actors direction, practical exercises on the set.

During the second year, the students start to work following the indications of the teachers / tutors, how they found themselves learning the craft in practice: first contacts with external clients, creative classroom competitions and productions managed with the teaching times, without delivery dates pressing.

During the third year, a real authorial laboratory comes to life where each pupil, always tutored by the school, will reach his or her autonomy in work, will confront real commissions and professional implementation times, gathering in a presentation reel, at the end of the year, all the commercials, documentaries and clips for the web made during the year.
